uMake actually has a few different ways you
 can select objects.
 0:00:04.310,0:00:08.710
We covered the most basic - double tapping
on curves or surfaces to select them.
 0:00:08.710,0:00:10.900
But now we will show you some more.
 0:00:10.900,0:00:16.109
Let’s start with the Lasso tool, located
 next to the orbit button.
 0:00:16.109,0:00:21.340
Simply tap and hold with one finger, and then
sketch a selection around the objects you
 0:00:21.340,0:00:23.360
 wish to select.
 0:00:23.360,0:00:27.730
Any object within the selection curve will
 be selected.
 0:00:27.730,0:00:33.129
You can also use the lasso tool to select
multiple control points on a curve you edit.
 0:00:33.129,0:00:37.640
Tap and hold on the Lasso tool, and draw a
 selection around points.
 0:00:37.640,0:00:42.940
To deselect simply double tap anywhere on
the canvas that is not an object, or draw
 0:00:42.940,0:00:47.149
a small circle with the lasso tool in empty
 space.
 0:00:47.149,0:00:52.380
To select multiple curves/ surfaces that are
connected or part of the same object,
 0:00:52.380,0:00:55.570
you can use the multi-tap method.
 0:00:55.570,0:00:58.639
Double tap to select a curve or surface.
 0:00:58.639,0:01:02.749
Then triple tap to select surrounding curves
 or surfaces.
 0:01:02.749,0:01:06.460
Triple tapping again will select the whole
 object.
 0:01:06.460,0:01:12.040
This makes it easy to select a small object
that is part of a larger design.
 0:01:12.040,0:01:16.530

to get a feel for how each method works.
