In addition to having layers, uMake lets you create groups of objects. This makes it easier to create complex models and easily modify the model if you need to. For example, if you want to make wheels of a car, or fan blades for a jet engine, you can group several surfaces and curves to make it easier to select a group of objects.

To create a group of objects, select multiple objects and then tap ‘Group’ in the side menu. This will create a group of objects.

NOTE: If you have objects on separate layers and create a group, the group and objects will be moved to the Default layer. If you ungroup the group, the objects will go back to their original layers.
