uMake lets you use dimensions to create accurate
 designs.
 0:00:05.100,0:00:12.230
To turn dimensions on, open up the side panel
and then go to the settings panel.
 0:00:12.230,0:00:15.499
 Toggle on Dimensions from there.
 0:00:15.499,0:00:18.370
 Then choose your grid units.
 0:00:18.370,0:00:22.780
By default uMake uses a generic ‘unitless’
 unit.
 0:00:22.800,0:00:28.660
However you can choose from metric units, or SAE units
 0:00:28.660,0:00:32.320
Choose the unit that best fits your needs
 0:00:32.320,0:00:37.800
When you select elements you will now notice
 dimensions on the bounding box.
 0:00:37.800,0:00:42.230
Tapping on these dimensions will enable you
to change the dimensions of a selected object
 0:00:42.230,0:00:44.469
 or group of objects.
 0:00:44.469,0:00:49.870
If you choose to change the dimensions, you
can use the lock icon to keep the dimensions
 0:00:49.870,0:00:52.899
 uniform and proportional.
 0:00:52.899,0:00:57.630
In addition to changing the dimensions of
an object, when you move an object, or rotate
 0:00:57.630,0:01:01.390
an object you will see dimensions appear.
 0:01:01.390,0:01:06.510
You can tap on these to enter the precise
dimension you want to move an object.
 0:01:06.510,0:01:10.590
Try using dimensions in your next design to
 help make it more accurate.
